As we get closer to Veteran's Day here in the US, I'm mindful of the many ways in which members of our armed services have supported our country through their many and varied missions at home and abroad and wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation.

Thanks again to the eChapter for inviting us to share our work on type and reintegration,

Katherine,
Thanks for getting the word out. We have great things planned for 2011 and look forward to a new board of directors for next year made up of those completing their current terms and new people so that the board is roughly half and half newcomers and "veterans."

Several eChapter Board members will be volunteering to help APTi with their Smile & Dial summer campaign.

We would like to invite more eChapter members to join us.

Katherine, are there more details yet such as dates, times, etc.?

Thanks,
Kathy

Katherine,

Thank you for bringing the DSM proposed revision to our attention.

I haven't found any reference to this on the APTi site. Its News section on the homepage would seem like a good place to post the information about the APA's DSM revision in regard to Introversion.
Just Sharing,
Kathy

What a fantastic program with Hassan Kamel yesterday! His work with the Air Force Military Training Instructors (an STJ environment with the volume UP!) really showed the powerful impact type knowledge can have on how we see ourselves and others and how we choose our actions - or let habit dictate them. Case studies demonstrated ways to safely challenge STJ assumptions by inviting people to "try it and see" in practice and pay attention to the results...thanks!

One of my favorite sessions at the Dallas APTi conference was 'Generations: Bridging the Gap with Type' by Rita Murray with Hile Rutledge. Part of what made it so exciting was that the slide/video clip show was geared to each of the four generations currently in the marketplace: Traditionalists, Baby Boomers, Gen X, and Millennials. They focused on the attributes of each type and what the do/don't do, like/don't like. At the end they showed where each group sat on a type table, one in each quadrant. I bought their book (same title) and am considering their 2-day slide show.
