Big news on January 9 this year — “CPP, Inc., an industry leader in research, training, and organizational development tools including the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) assessment, and Resunate, makers of innovative web-based resume tailoring and job application software, announce the new “Personality Analysis” feature on Resunate.com. The tool informs applicants’ job searches with a new level of resume personalization based on Myers-Briggs® personality type, allowing applicants to leverage their preferences for working, communicating, and learning to secure their ideal position.”

*** HANDOUT FOR PROGRAM ***

Mona Abdel-Halim will discuss the many ways Resunate users have found benefit using the Myers-Briggs® assessment integration to position themselves for different jobs. Chris Mackey will also discuss the different ways CPP, Inc. plans to grow its integration with Resunate and other innovative applications of the Myers-Briggs® assessment.

Resunate Testimonials:

“The suggestions I received on how to present myself better based on my MBTI type was PERFECT.”

“I had a phone interview yesterday and used the tips to talk about my strengths. I don’t always know what to say about myself, but the personal nature of the tips rang true and gave me some talking points – pretty cool, especially because I got a call back yesterday! “

• Using the:
- Unconscious function-attitudes to discover one’s best-fit type code
- 8 function-attitudes scores to engage the client
- Function-Archetype model to gain the synergy of Type and Emotional Intelligence
• Flexing within the Type Dynamics framework for effective engagement

HANDOUT for LEADING TRENDS IN TYPE THEORY

Come join us as Bob McAlpine presents the latest thoughts in applying type theory starting with new thoughts on how to use instrument scores and eight function-archetype scores in using the unconscious function-attitudes in the type verification process. The workshop then shifts to applying type theory introducing how to use the function-archetype model to merge type theory and emotional intelligence, thus gaining the synergy that comes from using both models together. It ends by introducing the idea of flexing or moving mental functions from one position in the function-archetype model to another as needed for effective interpersonal interaction.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
This workshop presents concepts that are on the leading edge of applying type theory.
• New ways to work with instrument scores
• How to use the:
- Unconscious functions to verify best-fit type
- 8 function-attitude scores to richen the discussion with clients
• Ways to use type theory and emotional intelligence together
• New ways to think about applying type theory

ABOUT OUR PRESENTER
Robert McAlpine, M.A. (ISTJ), President, Type Resources (TR) www.type-resources.com
Co-author of Intro to Type and 8 Jungian Functions and Journey of Understanding
Bob joined TR in 1993 and his unique approach to dealing with an irate customer (love them to death) is not what you’d expect from a former helicopter pilot in Vietnam.

In fact, Bob’s leadership and extraordinary classroom skills draw on over two decades’ experience as a career military officer, the U.S. Army’s Organizational Leadership and TQM Programs for Executives, experience as a DDI Certified Master Assessor, and graduate research on the MBTI® and Situational Leadership.

He has designed and managed leadership assessment and development programs for hundreds of army officers and qualified hundreds of Type Resources clients to use type theory. Bob is the best kind of teacher, the kind who models the lesson. Bob models for us how to get to know our shadow side and take responsibility for it.
